Alcohol Liability

Businesses which permit the service of alcohol to minors or intoxicated persons may be liable for the negligent acts comiited by such persons. A prompt and thorough investigation of such conduct is required. Over-service of alcohol occurs when a person is served alcohol after he is observed to be intoxicated, in violation of the law. Texas Law imposes liability on alcohol servers who provide alcohol to obviously intoxicated persons.
